FAQ

At Leicestershire Motorcycle Training we offer a full range of training from CBT, A1, A2, DAS(Direct Access) test courses to full licence refresher and advanced riding courses.

We can provide training bikes for CBT, test courses and refresher courses.  You have to have your own bike for the advanced riding courses.

You will need either a UK full car/provisional licence to be able to take a CBT or ride on L plates in the UK. If you have a full EU member state motorcycle licence then this is valid for the refresher or advanced riding courses.

All courses require payment on booking to secure dates.

Refunds are only available if courses are cancelled giving at least 14 days notice. If payment has been made by card there will be an handling charge to process the refund, this is 3% of the total refund with a minimum charge of £2.50. Training holiday costs are not refundable once paid. Leicestershire Motorcycle Training may consider refunds where there are exceptional circumstances or cancelled places can be filled.

Bookings can be cancelled at any time subject to refund policy. Amendments can be made but may incur further charges which will be made clear at the time.

All but the advanced riding course costs include bike hire, training, test fees and certification. The advance riding courses includes training costs only.

At present we are not lending helmets, you will need to bring your own. Jacket, gloves and waterproofs are available to borrow.
